I have based my work life around nurturing and creating spaces for people to enjoy, relax in and feel safe, to learn and grow.
From my early years as a nanny in London in the 80’s, to a successful career in the hospitality industry, ‘how people feel’ has always been a pivotal part of my creations.
This coupled with my own personal self-development over the past 7 years, which has given me a tool kit for managing what life has to throw at you…and thriving despite facing challenges. I have created a space with Sarah, in celebration of the healing nature has to offer us, particularly amongst the trees in woodland.
I have an inherited love of nature (thanks Dad), it has been my cocoon to hold, nurture and heal me through challenging times in my life.
With this at the forefront of our mission, I want to share Sorrel and Sage Woodland Wisdom Wellness Centre with as many people as I can.

My life journey and love of the outdoors began as a child growing up with my family in the country, enjoying the mountain and woods around our home. My inner child memories, my passion and excitement I have experienced throughout my life, carried me to where I am today.
The amazing love and support and knowledge passed down to me from my mother has stayed with me forever, taking walks down the lanes and around the hills, describing the plants and signs of nature as we embraced the joys of nature. “Thank you Mum x”.
Travelling through the years, I have worked alongside children and adults, practising nature, arts and crafts. As a Nanny, Childminder, Divisional Display Supervisor, Teachers Assistant and finally as a Forest School Practitioner, I experienced many wonderful opportunities to share and learn more about this wonderful environment. Stress and trauma is experienced in many ways and connecting with nature can be an important part of healing, self-esteem and building confidence. My understanding of nature can benefit your healing of mind and trauma.
My passion is to share my skills and creativity, engaging people with nature. My enthusiasm for nature and folklore is contagious and I am excited to be part of this journey, passing on my knowledge to you through activities and workshops, and I will teach you something new and have fun during our sessions.
